What field verification covers
What is checked, and how, is set by your instruction and by the case in front of us. Broadly, background verification services fall into four kinds of check.
Address verification
Confirming that an address exists, that the person is associated with it, and what the officer observed at the location.
Employment verification
Confirming employment or occupation details against what the applicant has stated, where the instruction calls for it.
Business verification
Confirming that a business exists at the stated premises and appears to be trading.
Employee background verification
Pre-employment checks on people rather than on loans, for employers and for channel-partner onboarding.
What comes back is a report of what the officer found, with the supporting evidence captured at the visit. We report what was seen. We do not score, grade or recommend, and the hiring or credit decision remains yours.
How a field investigation works
You provide the case details, the points that need to be verified and the evidence required for the instruction. We agree the boundaries of the visit before it is assigned.
The officer carries e-Solve identification and conducts the check at the stated location. Every officer is an e-Solve employee; we do not use local vendors or franchisees for field work.
The report records what was found through the visit and includes the agreed supporting evidence. e-Solve reports facts; your organisation makes the decision that follows.
